What are Google Ads?

Google Ads show up at the top and bottom of a search results page. They look like all of the other results but they can be identified by a little green “Ad” icon. The ads are Pay Per Click (PPC) so you only pay when someone clicks on the ad and not when it’s displayed. You set a daily budget of how much you want to spend and Google displays your ad as much as your budget allows. How much you pay per click is based on the competition for the keywords you’re targeting. The higher the competition, the more you pay per click.

Why are Google Ads so important?

Google Ads are important for two reasons:

  1. If your website isn’t showing up on the first page of search results, paid ads are the only way searchers will find you.
  2. Even if your website shows up on the first page of the search results, paid ads target a different group of potential customers than your organic listing. 

In general, people who click on paid ads are ready to buy now or are in a hurry and people who skip the ads and click on organic search results do so because they believe they’re more trustworthy and are more likely to research a company before doing business with them. Both groups are your potential customers so it’s important to target both of them or else you’re losing out on potential business.

This helps ensure your ads are only being clicked on by your potential customers.

Google Analytics

Seeing how many people click on your ads is only part of the story. In order to judge how successful the ads are we need to see how people are interacting with your website after clicking on your ads. We do this through Google Analytics which allows us to see how many people are coming to your website, how many pages they are visiting, how long they are spending on your website and much more. This helps us figure out if your ads are actually targeting your potential customers.

Pricing

We charge a monthly fee of 30% of the amount spent on the ads, and we have a minimum fee of $450 per month.
